The main properties required in a flame retardant curtain are that it should prevent the transmission of light into the interior of the room and be capable of preventing the rapid spread of flames or that the fabric should ignite.
Our blackout curtains comply with the primary international regulations applicable to textiles for the home. They are washable and will not lose their FR properties with washing.
